During the 1948 Arab-Jewish conflict in Palestine, a group of six Israeli soldiers — including Rachel (Nehama Hendel), a female combatant — is trapped in enemy territory. While trying to escape, the soldiers learn of an Arab plan to attack a nearby village. Fearing the worst, the group must now race home to warn their compatriots. The Palestinians, however, are hot on their tracks, and time is running out. As the group suffers a series of casualties, their chances for survival diminish.
